It's Time To Register Your Child For Kindergarten
For The 2010- 2011 School Year!


To enter Kindergarten in September, 2010, all children must turn 5 years old on or before 10/1/10. Registration will be held on Monday, February 22rd and Tuesday, February 23rd at the school.

Registration is BY APPOINTMENT ONLY and parents must bring the following information to their appointment:
1. All immunization records.
2. The child's original birth certificate.
3. Two (2) proofs of residency. (Your homeowner's deed, a real estate tax bill or signed rental lease can be one proof of residency. A driver's license or bank statement can be a second proof of residency.)

Your child will also need to be present at registration.

Please understand the process may take approximately one hour and childcare for siblings is not provided.

If you are a township resident and have a child who did not attend Kindergarten at Lafayette Township School and would like to have your child attend First Grade (or any other grade) here in September 2010, please call the school as soon as possible for registration.

Our wonderful new walkway has been built and it is time to accent it with beautiful pavers at the start of the walkway.

Engaging students in an active healthy lifestyle is increasingly important in today’s world where more and more students are becoming overweight. In order to help promote an active and healthy lifestyle for the students of Lafayette Township School, the school district has installed a walking path around the school. This walking path will be utilized by our students during their physical education classes and during recess periods, providing a safe area to exercise. The school district, in conjunction with the Lafayette Township Parent Teacher Organization and the Township have worked together to move this project forward, but we are also asking for your assistance.

Paver Stone Sale Price Extended!

Engraved pavers may be purchased for $50.00 if ordered by March 1, 2010.



The pavers will be installed at the beginning of the pathway as a tribute to your contribution to the Lafayette Township School walking path.

To purchase an engraved paving stone, please complete the form on the back of this flyer and return it to the school by March 1, 2010. The pavers will be installed in the Spring of 2010.
