New Jersey Interdistrict School Choice Program
Lafayette Township School is now accepting applications for the 2027-2028 school year. This Department of Education program allows the opportunity for non-resident students to attend Lafayette Township School at no cost to their parents/guardians. This is Lafayette’s sixteenth year of participation in the School Choice program. We currently have openings in our Kindergarten through Grade 8 program. However, due to restrictions on funding for the School Choice program, the State of New Jersey has limited our ability to accept only 4 students for the 2027-2028 school year.
Applications are due by 11/24/2026.
A lottery will be held on Thursday, December 10th at 4pm at the Lafayette Township School District.

the following two forms in either English or Spanish:
- School Choice Application
- Notice of Intent to Participate – for Tier 1 applicants only

Your child’s Interdistrict Public School Choice Application for Enrollment in a Choice District form should be received at Lafayette Township School no later than November 24, 2026.

Your child’s application will be reviewed and you will be notified of your child’s conditional acceptance or rejection by December 21 2026. Please note that all requested information must be received in order for us to be able to consider your student for the School Choice Program.
